NOT INSTANT HEATING

The information till now i have known,1.Opted this product for instant hot water.But it is not instant compared to electric mug.it will take more than 3 min to reach 45 degree temperature.2.in my case Input TDS is 270 (bore water) and after filtering it was 75. After two months of usage it came down to 45.3.The package came with external filterer, obviate the need to buy from outside shops.4.We need to raise the separate request to AO smith for installation by calling to customer care.(of-course installation is free).5.The person who came for installation told me that the annual maintenance cost may be around 4000/-6.looks-wise it s very good.so far it is good and i am satisfied

Got it through a local dealer as price was lower than online. I sort of like this device. Water taste feels better than the Aquaguard product we had earlier. Warm/Hot water option is pretty useful though it only works when the tanks are more than half full. LED lights are useful during night time but requires you to keep the device on permanently (of course). LED Lights even work when the unit itself is turned off so that's nice (or annoying). I am personally not a fan of dual button setup for warm water but I guess they had to do it for safety purposes. Z9 model requires the unit to be powered even for water disposal which is why I went for Z8. AMC prices I was told ranged from 3000 to 5000 with different features. 3000 bucks has only basic filters included. 4000 one has electronic parts covered. 5000 one has membrane included. Since Aquaguard was costing me the same per year, I decided to upgrade to this model. This unit also waste less water so that's also nice.

Came to know that it has minimum stock of water which is not drained fully. Problem of getting contaminated if not used for some time. For the sake of hot water only, can't risk of getting bad water.

Product is excellent, taken too much time for delivery. Installation: Technicians are irresponsible, they won't lift the phone and without consulting the customer they postpone the installation saying that customer requested for re-appointment. After lot of efforts with help centre the installation was done. Quality of the product is superb but the service is worst, therefore only 3*s

There are few things you have to know before buying this.
1. You can't control the TDS level as you can do in Kent. If you are connecting to bore water tab, water taste is not at all good and nothing can be done as you can't control TDS level in AO Smith.
2. You can't get Hot water unless the Tank is full.
3. Installation guy said hot water tank capacity is 800 ml. I am not getting more than 200 ml of hot water.
4. Though the tank capacity is 10 litres, you can't get even half of the water. You can clearly see that half of the tank is still available, but you can't get that water out.
